• A cosmopolitan European capital. Located on the French border with Germany, Strasbourg was home to Gutenberg, Goethe, Pasteur, Marc Bloch and Jean Calvin. Today, it is the seat of the European Court of Human Rights, the European Parliament and the Council of Europe. The Université de Strasbourg is the largest in France. ACCÈS is designed for students who want to improve their French skills through an intensive cultural immersion experience. Students enroll at the Université de Strasbourg and credits can transfer to their US colleges. The ACCÈS program includes:
• room and board with a host family or student foyer residence
• free bicycle rental for 3 months
• use of ACCÈS office with free wifi access
• excursions throughout the semester
• activities such as cooking class, accordion workshop and folk dancing
