We have come to the last day of our Annual International Workshop of the Historical and Theological Lexicon of the Septuagint at Christ Church College in Oxford.
The first volume is nearly ready and we would like to thank all the participants and supporters for the precious collaboration. Hard work and lots of fun!

Eberhard Bons has studied theology, philosophy and Romance languages at the universities of Mainz, Tübingen, Rome (Gregorian University) and Frankfurt (Faculty of Sankt Georgen).
In 1988 he obtained a Ph.D. degree from the University of Mainz.
In 1993, he also obtained a doctoral degree in theology from the Philosophisch-Theologische Hochschule St. Georgen, Francfort.
He received his habilitation in 2000 from the University of Strasbourg (France) where he teaches as a Professor of Old Testament Exegesis.

Exklusive und inklusive Tendenzen in den biblischen Gottesvorstellungen, Neukirchen-Vluyn: Neukirchener Verlag, 2009; Septuagint Vocabulary: Pre-History, Usage, Reception, Atlanta, Ga., 2011 (in collaboration with Jan Joosten); Le monothéisme biblique: évolution, contextes et perspectives, Paris: Cerf, 2011 (in collaboration with Th. The first volume of 500 pages will be released in November 2019.
