A special day exploring Strasbourg’s culture and history!

We had the chance to visit the Opera House, where we got a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the artists preparing for the new season, opera singers rehearsing and dancers warming up before their performances.

After a quick coffee break at the Opera House café, we headed to the beautiful Rohan Palace in the afternoon. We explored its stunning architecture and admired the art and history of this incredible historic building.

A day full of culture, art, and a little bit of Strasbourg magic 🪄

Hallooo 😄😄 My name is Emalee, and I’m a senior Biomedical Engineering student at Clemson University. Recently, I had the opportunity to join Clemson’s Biomedicine and Global Professional Development Abroad Program, which took me to Heidelberg, Germany, as well as Strasbourg and Paris, France.

As my very first time traveling outside the US, I thoroughly enjoyed exploring surrounding cities across Germany and France, as well as taking a side trip to Switzerland. Throughout the journey, I gained valuable insights into healthcare biotechnology and biomedical engineering practices across Europe.

Studying abroad has always been a dream of mine, so standing in front of the Eiffel Tower was a truly overwhelming experience. I was filled with so much joy and gratitude that, yes, I was practically sobbing!

To whoever is reading this, if you ever get the chance to study abroad, I highly recommend taking it…you won’t regret it! 🌍✈️🇫🇷

Going through our archives, we came across this article testimonial from sierra wood a student who studied abroad with CEPA almost 10 years ago.

A lot has changed since then. But the experience of studying abroad? That still holds up.

New places, new people, new perspectives — and memories that stay with you long after you come home.

This was her experience then, and it’s still what we do today at CEPA: giving students the opportunity to experience the world beyond their classroom.

Bonjour! My name is Holden and I am a Junior at The University of Southern Mississippi! I am a double major, majoring in Piano and Sound and Recording. This semester, I signed up for the Chateau CEPA study abroad program here in Strasbourg, France!

I love music! Whether it’s playing piano, singing, choir, or going to musicals. I love it all! I also love traveling, so this semester has been AMAZING! I have visited, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Spain, and now Italy!

Studying abroad has been one of the best experiences of my life! If you are ever considering or get the chance to study abroad, JUST GO! You will not regret it!

One of our Program Managers, Julia Vollert, recently got back from Helsinki where she met up with her group from the Silverfield College of Education and Human Services at the University of North Florida. 🇫🇮

The group had a packed week, with Education and Sports Management activities ranging from a city tour and an ice hockey game to visits to Kaisaniemi Elementary School, the Olympic Stadium and the TAHTO Center for Finnish Sports Culture.

A big thank you to Happy Guide Helsinki for coordinating the sports visits and taking excellent care of the group on-site! 🏒
