LABORATORY OF RADICAL IMAGINATION:
• between forces and flavours •
with Yusa Jacobo and Lily Pasquali

Before the tool that destroys, we invented the containers: the clay pot, the gourd, the bowl. Before the hero's narrative, there was the gesture of carrying together: water, grains, herbs, care.
This is where we begin.

The ecological crisis is also a crisis of sensibility: it has anaesthetised our bodies and the ways we relate. The river is not a landscape. The forest is not a backdrop. Clay is not a material. They are other bodies with their own temporalities, memories and forces and we can learn to be in dialogue with them.

For five days, we will weave together ceramics, experimental cooking and eco-somatic practices. We want to make forms contain: care, relationship, clay. We will light a fire, an ancestral technology that will accompany us through ceramic transformation and a collective alchemy.

This workshop is a micropolitical gesture: sharing flavours/knowledges that can expand our resources of autonomy and sustainability. Creating a time to embody the territories we inhabit, expanding our sensitivity toward more-than-human dialogues.

Open to anyone curious, no prior experience need. Teaching in English, Spanish and French.

Dancing Between Capitalism and Intimacy 🌿 with reversed.dances · Larret, 19–23 August 2025

Contamination, accumulation, patriarchal domination, dispossession, non-reciprocity. All of this shapes our daily lives and the way we interact. We open a dance workshop to situate ourselves between capitalist industry, the market, and our intimate relationships — dancing between abstract ideas and concrete flesh.
How does this reality show up in the way we touch one another? How does capitalism shape our patterns of desire?
6 to 7 hours of daily practice: somatics, butoh, improvisation, instant composition, collective reading in movement, writing and mapping. Open to anyone curious about the intersections of body, politics, and poetics. Multilingual teaching.

🗓 Arrival August 19th · Departure August 23rd or 24th

360-500€
Price includes accommodation and meals — if the price is a barrier, reach out!

FAIRE CONTENANT: entre formes et saveurs.
A ceramic and plant-based cooking workshop through an eco-somatic approach.

In her essay The Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction (1986), Ursula Le Guin proposes reversing the dominant narrative of human culture: before the tool that destroys, we invented the container — the basket, the gourd, the clay bowl. The container as the first gesture of culture allowed us to carry and preserve water, grains, herbs. It is from this invitation that we will inhabit this week, with the intention of reversing the narratives that sustain us and sensitising our bodies from the hands that reach the heart in contact with the earth.
We want to make forms contain: care, relationship, clay, and let the flavours of the world express themselves through them. We want to build ecological counter-narratives that invite us to gather, to open clay pots and cook together. We will light a fire, an ancestral technology that will accompany us through ceramic transformation.
This workshop is a micropolitical gesture: sharing flavours/knowledges that can expand our resources of autonomy and sustainability. Creating a time to embody the territories we inhabit, expanding our sensitivity toward more-than-human dialogues.

Open to anyone curious, with no prior experience required. Instruction in French, Spanish and English.

Collaborative Power of Contact Improvisation is a week-long invitation to practice CI while sharing survival skills. We understand that much of the world is overwhelmed by power dynamics and domination, and we want to respond by sharing power and engaging in relational ways of being. Inspired by The Love Makers Company, we use the question: What can we do together that we can't do alone? to challenge ourselves in our dances and create micropolitical responses together.
This year, we are joined by Makisig Akid and Anya Cloud (The Love Makers Company), who will guide us through practical and fantastical q***r collective survival skills centered on love, towards collective flourishing. Together, we will explore ways of approaching touch and improvisation where agency is not negotiated, but respected and supported.
The event will be structured with workshops in the morning, labs in the afternoon and jams in the evening, with open spaces for co-creation throughout the week.

Practical information :

Arrival: Monday, August 3rd between 2pm and 6pm. Departure: Monday, August 10th after breakfast.

Prices:

Solidarity rate for BIPOC participants : €315. We offer a reduced rate for Black, Indigenous, or People of Color—those who experience being perceived as non-white and face discrimination based on this. We recognize that BIPOC people who pass as white also experience discrimination and erasure, and we would like to extend this rate to everyone; we are working with limited resources and hope you understand.
Actual cost : €430 for the week, including food, accommodation and access to all studios and activities.
Supporter rate : €450–€600 or more. If you have access to financial benefits, we encourage you to be honest with yourself. Financial solidarity is what makes this event accessible; by paying more, you directly enable others to participate.
Full scholarship : Depending on the number of applications and supporting contributions, we hope to be able to offer 1 or 2 fully funded places. If this becomes possible, we will open applications by mid-June.

A week of contact improvisation, overwhelmingly q***r and globally majority (BIPOC), based on peer teaching and self-organization. Co-facilitated by Emma Bigé, Defne Erdur, Lily Pasquali, and Yusa Jacobo. Beginners are welcome.

What are CREATURES?

CREATURES is a week-long contact improvisation event with an overwhelmingly q***r and overall majority (BIPOC) participants. It is based on peer teaching and partial self-organization. A small facilitation team provides a framework—classes, labs, assemblies, and a draft program—but the week's life is largely built by all the participants.
CREATURES began in 2024 with a simple question: what would happen if we practiced contact improvisation with an overwhelmingly q***r majority? At the first edition, the creatures were mostly trans*, radical faeries were in the mix, B**M tools were introduced, and q***r eco-somatics emerged. In 2025, guests from the Cuerpas Politikes collective joined us, there were more practices, many discussions about race and contact, and a lot of movement. In 2026, we evolved towards: further refocusing contact improvisation and centering not only the overwhelming q***r majority, but also the global majority (BIPOC). We don't know what will happen, and we can't wait.

Beginners are welcome. No prior experience with movement is necessary.

Practical information:

Dates: 27th to 2nd August.

Prices:
Actual cost: €270 for the week , including food, accommodation and access to the studios and all activities.
Solidarity price: €300–€455 or more. If you have access to financial advantages, we ask that you be honest with yourself about it. Financial solidarity is what makes this event accessible—by paying more, you directly enable others to participate.
DOBST·NOTAFLOF (We do our best to ensure no one is turned away due to lack of resources) : You can request a reduced price or free admission, without needing to justify your decision. We will do our best to meet everyone's needs once the material costs are covered.
