Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend a workshop on effective ways of teaching young learners. Teaching children is no easy task: keeping them focused and managing their energy. It comes always with its unique challenges requiring patience, creativity, flexibility and a good understanding of how children learn best. The workshop offered valuable insights into these challenges and practical strategies to make learning more engaging and effective. A great reminder that being a teacher also means being a lifelong learner.

Language matters because words don’t just describe reality, they frame it. ☕️ The language we use shapes how people perceive an idea, a person or a situation. The words we choose can humanize or dehumanize, clarify or distort, invite understanding or create distance. Being careful with language is about recognizing the power and responsibility that comes with communicating with other people. 🦋 Sometimes the most revealing language isn’t verbal at all. Posture, facial expression, eye contact, distance, and even the timing of a gesture can communicate things that words carefully conceal. We listen to what people say, but we often believe what their bodies are telling us. 🌸 Body language is interesting because it doesn’t simply accompany speech, it can reinforce it, contradict it, or completely change how we interpret the words. Communication happens on several levels at once, and sometimes the silence between the words says the most. // https://youtube.com/shorts/e0tyUmHQlmY?is=-Gm1cgmA7VkFy_7U
