Svalbard. Bruce has just started his second yacht supported ski mountaineering trip of the season. Many of our avalanche students are surprised to learn that Mike and Bruce met working in Antarctica back in the late 1990’s and both have skied and climbed in polar regions throughout the last 25 years, from land based trips in Iceland and Finnmark to sail and ski adventures in Antarctica and Spitsbergen.

Bruce’s first Svalbard week this season had both good snow quality and great weather. You can contact us via our website if you’re interested in joining him on a once in a lifetime ski trip.
