Hello to all! So for the last week of Film Club we are going to do appéro at Tom's apartment after the movie. We just ask that you bring something yummy to eat and/or to drink. We will have a few things as well. The group needs to leave by 10pm because of the neighbors, though. At that point, we can make other plans. See you Wednesday!

C'est un film en animation de pâte à modeler réalisé par Peter Lord et Jeff Newitt (Chicken Run). L'histoire se déroule à l'époque victorienne. Le Capitaine Pirate (Hugh Grant) et son équipage doivent affronter leurs ennemis de toujours, afin de remporter le prix du Pirate de l'Année. Mais ils doivent aussi déjouer les plans de la reine Victoria, qui hait les pirates et fait tout pour les faire capturer.

This week for Film Club there will be a special Thursday showing on March 7th (There will still be the movie on Wednesday at the university, too!). On Thursday at Dirty Old Town, we will have a 30-minute British short film projected for which Tom and I will prepare apéro snacks (a guacamole competition+other dips) and then we will go to Nota Bene for a meal.

Everyone is welcome to Dirty for the short film and the apéro, but we reserved 20 places at Nota Bene. That leaves 18 places for students who wish to join us for a meal afterwards. Please RSVP here and let us know if you want to reserve one of those places.
