Amrithya's Erasmus Experience at the University of Freiburg:

The Erasmus period in the University of Freiburg has been quite an enriching experience, both academically and personally. Being able to immerse myself in advanced topics like reinforcement learning and computer vision, challenging and rewarding at the same time, is great exposure. The expertise of the professors and collaboration with people from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds is a great exposure.

At the same time, living in Freiburg has taught me lessons beyond the classroom: from marveling at the picturesque Black Forest to mastering the fine art of dodging cyclists-a true Freiburg survival skill-every day has been an adventure. And yes, my attempts at speaking German have provided more entertainment than communication, but progress is progress!

This journey has not only strengthened my technical skills but also made me more adaptable and resilient. The experience of learning, exploring, and occasionally laughing at my own cultural faux pas is one that will remain with me during my academic life.

👨‍🎓👩‍🎓On December 6th 2024, the Faculty of Science organized the 2nd Graduation Ceremony for our International degree. It includes our Master OIVM and Computer Science to which MLDM track belongs.
Congratulations to all of them! We wish them a fruitful professional life!

Our annual International Lunch took place last Thursday, January 11th. For this time of exchange, students, teachers and members of the administrative staff took time to cook and bring dishes from their country, so everyone could discover a bit of their culture. Many thanks to them for once again making this event a success: the meals were all delicious!
