ST ANTON 🇦🇹 | Why we keep going back…

There are ski resorts with great off-piste… and then there’s St Anton!

Sitting in the heart of the Arlberg, St Anton gives us easy access to a vast amount of varied terrain — from big open bowls and long descents to trees, steeper lines and some brilliant itineraries away from the pistes.

But it’s not just the skiing that makes us keep coming back.

St Anton is one of those places where skiing feels properly ingrained in the culture. It has a huge amount of history, often called the birthplace of modern alpine skiing, and a very lively Austrian mountain-town atmosphere. Aprés is big here!

We’ll be back in St Anton in January 2027 for our Backcountry course, where we use our Snoworks instructors AND local guides to give you the best experience.

It might only be October, but it seems plenty of you are already thinking about winter!

Check out our 2026/27 course calendar, as courses are filling up fast. Macedonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan and all of our December weeks are already SOLD OUT, and we’re down to the last 2 spaces on our busy 30th November week.

🇪🇸 Baqueira is back! You asked, we listened — a Snoworks favourite returns to the calendar.
🏔️ La Grave returns after a fantastic first season. Just two groups of six for Levels 5.5–6.
🇮🇹 Mighty Matterhorn. Cervinia was such a hit it’s now a permanent fixture in the Snoworks calendar.
⛷️ Ski Safari in the Tarentaise. Another trip you loved, so naturally, it’s back!

Plus, there’s a full winter of All-Terrain, Off-Piste, Backcountry and Ski Touring to choose from.

We can’t wait to get back on the snow and ski with you all again.

Haute Route 2026 ⛷️ What a week that was! The most iconic ski tour in the world lived up to every bit of its reputation, with fantastic conditions helping us safely complete this unforgettable traverse.

Long days on skis, huge mountain scenery, plenty of laughs, and memories that will stay with us for years to come.

Not one for the faint-hearted, that’s for sure — but if it’s on your bucket list, perhaps April 2027 is your year to join us.

A few shots from last week’s course in Tignes. Spring snow, blue skies and sunshine made for some great days out with our ski touring and off-piste groups.

We’re now out in Hintertux for our Ski Skills course. There are still a couple of spaces left for next week if you fancy squeezing in one more trip — with three groups running, all focused on piste performance.

Our inaugural ski touring trip to the Tatra Mountains. Staying in Poland, skinning and skiing back and forth into Slovakia. Big climbs, tired legs, silent valleys and incredible huts tucked into the mountains. Wild, challenging and unbelievably beautiful. ⛷️🏔️
