Express: HAPPY AS A CLAM

Usage: She went to the countryside, where she was happy as a clam.

Meaning: Extremely happy. For example, she went to a certain place that she loved and was extremely happy to be there.

Usage: Thanks for the invitation, but my dance card is full this month.
Meaning: I am very busy during this period of time; I don’t have any free time available this month.

Expression: LONG STORY SHORT
Usage: "To cut a long story short, I left the store a satisfied customer."
Meaning: No need to elaborate, no need to tell the entire story. In the end, this is what happened.
