University of Rennes1 - Summer School on Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Innovation, data and cities issues were topics on which students were immersed in an innovative project in a collective and concrete way during two weeks.
The Summer school “Solutions for healthier digital cities” took place at Université de Rennes 1 last July.

international students worked in team on Business Cases created by actors of local ecosystem. They attended conferences from public speakers, professionals and experts and you have been helped in their projects by professional coaches.
They also participated to various activities and shared a great experience thanks to all these novelties!

In fact, 2020 is the third year during which the 2-week summer school organised by the EIT Digital Department within the University of Rennes 1 in France will be held. This summer school will take place between the 29th June and the 10th July 2020.

The University of Rennes1: Summer School on Innovation also has an interesting social programme. Students will also see the cultural side of Rennes as well as its gorgeous surroundings such as Saint Malo and the Mont Saint Michel, a fascinating historical city close to the beach.

The University of Rennes1: Summer School on Innovation is quite multicultural, therefore, students come from all over Europe and abroad have the opportunity to share a wonderful and unique experience in an English-speaking environment. In previous editions of the summer school, participants came from top universities, for example, Alto, in Finland; ELTE, in Hungary; KTH, in Sweden; POLIMI, in Italy; Trento, in Italy; and UPM, in Spain, but also India and China. We really hope to host more students coming from other parts of the world in order to feed our program with an enriching cultural diversity.
