Take the next step, even if you can’t see the whole path. šŸ¤

I’ll admit… this one is difficult for me.

I like knowing the plan.
I like knowing where I’m going, how I’ll get there, and preferably what happens after that too. šŸ˜…

But life doesn’t always give us that certainty.

Right now, there are quite a few parts of my life where I can only see the next step.

We’re searching for a home without knowing exactly where we’ll end up.
I’m learning more because I dream of creating my own online business, even though I don’t know exactly what that will look like yet.
And perhaps most importantly, I’m still learning who I am underneath all the expectations, routines and old versions of myself.

There are so many things I want more of: adventures, learning, helping animals, creating something of my own, building a life that feels more like me.

But I don’t have the map yet.

And maybe I don’t need one. 🌿

When I started Green Yourself, I didn’t know where it would lead either. I tried different things, followed what felt meaningful and kept taking small steps.

Somewhere along the way, it became so much more than I imagined.

It helped me heal parts of myself.
It connected me with people around the world.
And somehow, my own journey started inspiring others too. šŸ¤

So perhaps the goal isn’t to have everything figured out.

Perhaps it’s to trust yourself enough to take the step that feels right now, and let the next one reveal itself when you get there.

A little reflection for you tonight:

✨ What is one part of your life where you’re waiting to see the whole path?
🌿 What is one small step you can see right now?
šŸ¤ What might change if you trusted yourself enough to take it?

And because you’re part of where Green Yourself goes next, I’d genuinely love to know: what would you love to see more of here? 🌿

You don’t need to know exactly where the path will lead.
You only need enough courage to take the next step. šŸ¤

What if one walk could mean more than just exercise? šŸŒšŸ¤

Yesterday, I watched one of Mina Guli’s videos, and it stayed with me.

She spoke about feeling exhausted.

About how wildfires have forced her to change the route of her incredible journey along the Colorado River.

And yet… she keeps going.

Because her purpose is bigger than the obstacles.

Watching her reminded me that sometimes the most meaningful thing we can do isn’t solve someone’s challenge.

It’s simply letting them know they aren’t walking alone.

🌿 So this weekend, I’d love for our Green Yourself community to come together.

Spend 30 minutes moving in whatever way feels good for you.

🚶 Walk.
šŸƒ Run.
🚓 Cycle.
šŸŠ Swim.
🄾 Hike.

It doesn’t have to be by a river.

If you can, simply spend those 30 minutes in nature and dedicate them to everyone working to protect our beautiful planet.

If you’re joining us:

Let’s remind Mina that people around the world are moving beside her in spirit—and remind ourselves that small actions really can create meaningful change. Because every step we take together carries hope a little further. šŸŒšŸ’š

I have a little invitation for you this weekend… šŸ’™šŸŒ

Let’s move together.

Walk. Run. Cycle. Swim. Hike. Take your dog for a walk. 🌿

Just 30 minutes, your way, wherever you are, in support of Mina Guli and her incredible journey.

Because sometimes, showing someone they’re not walking alone can mean more than we realise. šŸ¤

If you join us, share your movement in your Story:

🌿 Small choices. Big love for our planet.

Lately I’ve been reminded that healing ourselves and caring for the planet have something in common.

Neither happens overnight.
Both are built through small choices we make, again and again.

Plastic Free July reminds me that change doesn’t always begin with something big.

Sometimes it begins with taking my reusable bag to the store.
Choosing loose vegetables when I can.
Packing a homemade lunch.
Refilling my water bottle before leaving home.

I’m far from perfect. There are still days when I buy plastic-wrapped food because sometimes there simply isn’t another option. And yes… I still buy cleaning products in plastic bottles too.

But I’ve learned that sustainability isn’t about perfection.
It’s about paying attention.
About making one better choice when you can.

Seeing the wildfires, droughts and the impact of climate change makes me feel sad and worried. But it also reminds me why I started Green Yourself in the first place.

Because together, our small daily choices really do matter.

This July, I’m choosing to pay a little more attention to the plastic in my everyday life. šŸŒšŸ¤

Will you join me by making one small plastic-free swap this month?

Gentle beginnings aren’t always easy. 🌿

Today was my first reminder that healing continues, even after taking the first step back.

I noticed how easy it is to slip back into old habits of rushing… and how important it is to pause, breathe, and listen to what my body needs.

Because healing isn’t about perfection. It’s about choosing yourself, again and again.
And today, that’s exactly what I chose. šŸ¤šŸŒæ

What if today wasn’t about doing more…
but simply about beginning? 🌿

Sometimes we wait until we have more energy.
More motivation.
More certainty.

But what if today you simply began… gently?

One deep breath.

One short walk.

One healthy meal.

One page.

One small step back toward yourself.

For me, this affirmation feels especially personal right now.

After taking time to heal from burnout, I’m gently stepping into a new chapter this week.

If I’m honest, I’m feeling a little scared.

Not because I expect everything to be perfect, but because healing isn’t a straight line. My days are still filled with ups and down, in my energy, my emotions, and sometimes even my breathing.

But these past weeks have also taught me something beautiful.

I don’t have to wait until I feel 100% to move forward.

I can begin gently, while still honoring my limits.

I’m learning to listen to what my body needs, to set healthier boundaries, and to trust my own pace.

Because maybe courage isn’t waiting until you’re fully healed.

Maybe courage is taking the next small step while treating yourself with kindness along the way. šŸ¤šŸŒæ

Today, I’m choosing to begin gently.
Maybe you’ll join me. šŸ¤šŸŒæ

Summer on a plate ā˜€ļøšŸ„—
Proof that salads don’t have to be boring.

Yesterday’s lunch was one of those simple meals that felt like a little ritual: mixed lettuce, cucumber, strawberries, nectarine, falafel, vegan feta, crunchy croutons, pepper and herbes de Provence… all finished with a fig vinaigrette I brought back from the South of France last September šŸ¤šŸ‡«šŸ‡·

Sweet, savory, fresh and simple.
A little summer bowl of joy 🌿

Some months change you quietly. June was one of them.

This past month reminded me that healing from burnout isn’t linear.
Some days felt heavy. Some days felt hopeful.
Some days I questioned everything.

But somewhere in between the overwhelm, the rest, the walks, the tears, the stillness…
I started finding pieces of myself again.

I’m learning that healing isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about coming back to who you were before the world asked too much of you.

June taught me to slow down.
To listen.
To trust my own pace again.

And maybe that is enough for now 🌿
