JUNK KOUTURE WORLD FINALISTS 2026 🌍
We are proud to announce that ICS Paris students Emmanuelle and Alix, together with Visual Arts teacher Lucie De Saint, have been selected as World Finalists in the 2026 Junk Kouture competition.
Created entirely from renovation waste sourced from the ICS Paris building site, the piece transforms discarded construction tarps and plastic bags into a striking work of wearable art. More than fashion, Bride Unbuilt is a powerful commentary on sustainability, forced and child marriage, and the urgent need for gender equality.
♻️ SDG 12 — Responsible Consumption
⚖️ SDG 5 — Gender Equality
This achievement reflects the creativity, courage, and collaborative spirit of our students and staff — proving that innovation begins when we see possibility where others see waste.
Congratulations to Emmanuelle, Alix, and Ms De Saint on this extraordinary global recognition.
