🔄📊 From Startup Generalist to Data Engineer: meet David Gonzalez!

Before Ironhack, David worked at a small logistics startup where “doing a bit of everything” was the norm. With no data team in place, he found himself building dashboards and reports, and that’s where his passion for data quietly took off.

Ready for a real pivot, David decided to bet on himself. While keeping his full-time job, he spent his evenings (and Saturdays!) learning at Ironhack, even knowing his company had no plans to build a data department. Still, he chose his future. 🚀

🎉 The result? David landed his first Data job before even finishing the bootcamp, signing his contract in February 2021. Four years later, he’s a Data Engineer at Synvert Consulting GmbH, embedded in client teams and building the data infrastructure that keeps everything running smoothly.

His story is proof that what once feels impossible can become your everyday reality.
