ACQUIN is a recognized agency by the German Accreditation Council. ACQUIN is involved in international, in particular European, associations of external quality assurance institutions: Full member of

1. European Network for Quality Assurance (ENQA),
2. Associate Member of the European University Association (EUA), 3. Central Eastern European Network for Quality Assurance (CEENQA)
4. International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE)
5. Associate Member of Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARQAANE).

ACQUIN fulfils the requirements of Article 2 of the guidelines of the Swiss Accreditation Council on the recognition of agencies for accreditation according to HEdA (recognition guidelines) of December 11, 2015.

ACQUIN is also approved as a quality assurance agency in Austria and is entitled to carry out audits at universities and technical colleges of applied sciences in Austria in accordance with § 22 Para. 2 HS-QSG
