๐ Weโre looking for communications & advocacy interns!
The Teacher Task Force, a global alliance hosted by UNESCO, works to make sure every learner is taught by qualified, motivated and supported teachers. We help keep teachers high on the global education agenda and support countries in strengthening their teacher policies. ๐
Weโre recruiting full-time interns (6 months) to join us at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, starting May 2026.
Youโll support our communications, advocacy and knowledge work, from drafting social media content and blogs, to helping with campaigns and events (like hashtag ), supporting newsletters and publications, and updating our knowledge platform.
Itโs a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in global education, advocacy and communications within the UN system.
๐ Full-time, up to 2 days of telework per week (within Paris).

Excellent written and spoken English is required.
โ Good French or Spanish is a strong asset.

๐ข Youth voices ignite transformation.
The SDG4 Youth & Student Network played a role in shaping the Santiago Consensus, led by UNESCO and the Governmnet of Chile and adopted at the World Summit on Teachers, proudly adding their voices to amplify the call to reverse teacher shortages.
Youth advocates for:
๐ Turning financial commitments for teachers into realities
๐ Supporting teachers as lifelong learners
๐ Prioritizing teahcers' well-being and social and emotional learning
๐Measuring progress through accountable monitoring efforts
And above all: continuing to engage youth voices in teacher policy dialogues, social dialogue platforms, and decision-making spaces.

Today we launched the Arabic edition of the Global Report on Teachers at the International Conference on the Teaching Profession, hosted by ูุฒุงุฑุฉ ุงูุชุฑุจูุฉ ูุงูุชุนููู
ุงูุฃุฑุฏููุฉ๐ด๐ฒ in Muscat.
Co-published with the UNESCO Regional Center for Quality & Excellence in Education, the report spotlights the scale of the global teacher shortage and sets out priority actions to strengthen, support and transform the teaching profession worldwide, helping deliver on the Santiago Consensus.
