En pensant et repensant « indépendance », je suis arrivé à la conclusion que ce n’est pas le terme qui convient aux pays AUTREFOIS envahis par les puissances colonialistes et impérialistes. Dorénavant, j’utiliserai le mot « Renaissance » ou « Réappropriation », le temps de trouver une meilleure expression.
POURQUOI cette décision radicale ?
Tout simplement parce que la définition du mot ne sied pas à la réalité. Revenons un peu aux faits. Nous avons appris que les pays « assujettis », en l’occurrence africains, vivaient en parfaite harmonie avec la nature jusqu’à l’arrivée des envahisseurs. Autant que je m’en souvienne, nous buvions l’eau douce de nos ruisseaux, tout allait bien, nous mangions de nos produits alimentaires BIO (après tout, les produits chimiques n’avaient pas encore atteint nos rivages), nos matières premières étaient en grande partie intactes, notre sol était fertile, nos faune et flore regorgeaient des myriades d’animaux terrestres et volatiles... Enfin, nous vivions selon notre credo, nos valeurs et croyances, oui NOUS vivions aussi HUMBLEMENT que nous pouvions et ne dépendions de personne, je dis bien « personne ». On était autosuffisants et n’avait rien, mais alors RIEN demandé à personne. Il a fallu que les envahisseurs impérialistes fussent venus nous apporter « la lumière » au fin fond de nos « ténèbres » pour nous apprendre COMMENT vivre à leur manière. Ce coup de massue a marqué le début de la rupture des « indigènes » avec la nature. Et, on a décidé qu’ils n’étaient PLUS « indépendants ». Ça veut dire quoi au juste ? En vrai, ça veut dire TOUT et RIEN dans ce cas de figure : Vous n’êtes plus INDÉPENDANTS mais vous continuez à vous nourrir de vos propres efforts, vous travaillez 2 fois plus qu’avant, vous n’êtes plus indépendants MAIS vos ressources naturelles ravitaillent les pays occupants, censés être « indépendants », vous n’êtes plus indépendants bien que vous ne dépendiez de personne. Me parleriez-vous ENCORE d’indépendance ?! Pour moi, ça n’a pas de sens !!! Enfin bref....
