🌍 Euromed Participation Lab 🌍

Are you a youth worker from Programme countries or Southern Mediterranean countries willing to develop projects supporting youth participation ? 🤝

💡SALTO EuroMed will host a Partnership Building Activity (PBA) to focus on KA154 Youth Participation projects.

🎯The activity will include sessions on how to develop projects, how to cooperate in this action and will be the opportunity to share best practices, challenges & ideas. It will also offer space for planting the seed for future meaningful partnerships.

➡ How can municipalities strengthen youth participation in local decision-making?

Last month, SALTO EuroMed, in partnership with the Agence Erasmus+ France Jeunesse & Sport, the Bureau International Jeunesse (Belgium) and the Democracy Reloading Strategic National Agency Cooperation, organised the Municipalities4Democracy training course in Rabat, Morocco.

We brought together municipal youth policy officers, elected representatives and youth workers from 4 different countries to explore how municipalities can better involve young people in local decision-making processes.

Over five days, 24 participants from Morocco, France, Belgium and Tunisia exchanged practices, discovered the Democracy Reloading tools and reflected on concrete ways to strengthen youth participation in their local communities.

We were also honoured to welcome Delphine Dufoix, Head of Decentralised Cooperation at the French Embassy in Morocco, and Adnane Lahlou, Adviser at the Wallonia-Brussels Delegation in Morocco, who officially opened the training.

The programme also highlighted the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps programmes to support municipalities and local partnerships.

🔍 Are you a youth worker supporting young women who face barriers to participation, information and access to opportunities?

We invite youth workers from Programme countries and Southern Mediterranean countries to take part in an international Partnership Building Activity (PBA) focused on inclusive youth work with young women, particularly those living in rural, remote or peripheral communities. 🤝

🎯Exchange experiences and reflect on how organisations engage young women in rural areas, remove barriers and make opportunities more visible, accessible and inclusive.

🌍 Erasmus+ Community of Practice in the South-Mediterranean Region

SALTO EuroMed is launching the Erasmus+ Community of Practice (CoP) in South-Med, a series of four online meetings bringing together organisations and practitioners active in Erasmus+ Youth across the region.

The Community of Practice is a collaborative space to exchange experiences, reflect on common challenges, and jointly explore ways to strengthen the quality of Erasmus+ projects and partnerships.

📅 Meetings will take place online from 11:00 to 14:00 CEST:

• 22 July 2026 – What is the Community of Practice? & Erasmus+ Introduction
• 21 September 2026 – Erasmus+ Partnership Building
• 16 November 2026 – Project Writing
• 7 December 2026 – Impact, Evaluation & Dissemination

The initiative aims to:
• Build a community of organisations active in Erasmus+ Youth in the South-Med region
• Identify and promote quality practices and approaches
• Strengthen capacities for developing and implementing high-quality projects
• Encourage peer learning, exchange, and mutual support
• Reflect on practical solutions to challenges linked to Erasmus+ implementation in local contexts

This activity is for members of South-Med organisations who are already familiar with Erasmus+, involved in project design or implementation, and willing to actively contribute to discussions and collective reflection.

Selected participants will receive the Zoom link and practical information before each meeting.

Last week in Tangiers 🇲🇦, South Med organisations active in ESC were gathered to partipate in the yearly "Upscale in ESC" training. 🙌

The week was full of sharing, discussions and new ideas. 💭

Participants from 7 countries exchanged practices and tools in order to improve quality of volunteering projects. ✊
