In 2022 I'm still writing about writing for immersive media, and I include everything that helps to create a project around writing during the pre-production period: creating your storyboard in VR, building your prototype to present your project.
But it's my experience in writing an immersive live show, thanks to the City of Paris' new media support, and the creation of digital, narrative, immersive and interactive artworks that is the main point of this new edition.
About the show which is immersive in the room (video projections on the walls, screens, ceiling), and features animated holograms, videomapping on volume screens, mixing real shots, 3D, graphics. In the chapter devoted to this part I propose to you to enter in my methodology, my reflections and the shaping of my ideas on a concrete project.
A short word on the works of Digital Arts, it is to understand that the approach is identical to the creation of a device in VR for a festival. From my point of view, the work of Art always tells a story with its material, technique, and the creative interpretation of the artist, from the "Mona Lisa" of Leonardo Da Vinci to the "Penseur" of Auguste Rodin. Digital art, which is supposed to make use of a large part of the possibilities of digital, immersion and interaction is included in this vision. If we start from this postulate, an interactive and immersive digital work can be "written", that is to say thought to make the public feel emotions. This writing is particular and I share with you my experience on the creation of my own devices / digital artworks / narrative NFTs.
Remember that this eBook is the result of several years of work, testing and experimentation, both practical and theoretical. I propose new ideas coming from my "laboratory", that you can use, modify later in your interactive or linear experiences, at 360°.
