poster for tomorrow is an independent, non-profit organisation whose goal is to encourage people, bot And that’s what we hope to do – to try and stop injustice.
We are men and women around the world who believe that a poster, a simple, arresting image combined by a powerful piece of text, can be a force for change. A poster that when posted on a wall or on the net can make somebody sit up and take notice of an injustice and inspire them to take action. 2024 Topic: Stop killing women
According to UN Women, 2022 was the year in which the most women were intentionally murdered to date: nearly 89,000. Of these ‘Around 48,800 women and girls worldwide were killed by their intimate partners or other family members (including fathers, mothers, uncles and brothers). This means that, on average, more than 133 women or girls are killed every day by someone in their own family.’
If it’s not bad enough that femicide is increasing, the real statistic is probably much higher: ‘for roughly four in ten intentional murders of women and girls, there is not enough information to identify them as gender-related killings because of national variation in criminal justice recording and investigation practices’.
This must change. So this year, we want to ask your help in drawing attention to all forms of violence against women: for the world to stop killing women.

Do the right thing | Online Jury
In a few days, from August 10th to October 10th, during 60 days, our online jury team will review all the eligible entries. It took as a big while to sort and eliminate posters which were signed or have been published on internet. It’s a very tough and time consuming mission. As every year, we will have our 400 hundred shortlisted posters. We'd like to thank them all for their precious work, we are really grateful, for their willingness and their dedicated time!

After we extended the contest for thirty days, the final deadline for this year’s poster contest is Sunday July 10th at midnight, Central European Time.
Thank you to everyone who has already submitted an entry. We would like to remind you all that we only accept entries via our registration form. Entries sent via email are not eligible for the contest.
If you are having problems sending your poster (perhaps due to internet connection issues), please read our HOW TO page, where you should find all the information you need.
If you need more assistance, please contact us via email and we will help you as fast as we can.
Last, but not least, please check that your poster meets our selection criteria before sending it.
Our regulations document and FAQ contain all you need to know – but here are three tips to help you:
• Don’t forget to give your poster a title.
• Don’t enter artwork that has already been submitted to another poster competition or published on social media.
• Don’t include your name or signature in the artwork.
Good luck to all of you!

We Stand With Ukraine
There is little that we can say about the horrendous situation in Ukraine that might make a difference. But we hope there is something that we can do to help.
To show our solidarity with Ukraine, we offer our platform to receive all the posters made by designers across the world addressed to this cause. By hosting these posters on our database, we hope the posters will get increased visibility and form a resource that people going to demonstrations around the world can use to show their solidarity for Ukraine.
If you would like to upload a poster, see the project page created on our website.
Peace.

Do the right thing
In a world that is becoming increasingly polarised, perhaps the one thing that unites us all is the conviction that we are all acting for the right reasons. And having formed an opinion about an issue, there is little room to have it changed by listening to an opposing view. Fake news has eroded trust in facts. So how can we move forward?
For inspiration we returned to the things that motivated us to start Poster for Tomorrow. Injustice. The violation of human rights. A burning passion to inspire positive change in the world. In short, a desire to do the right thing.
This year we want to inspire people to remember the human rights we should all enjoy: education, gender equality, housing, work, healthcare, to name but a few. If we act with these in mind, it should become clearer whether we’re really doing the right thing. It’s our duty to ourselves and each other.
