It’s been a while 🙂. I wanted to apologize for my absence lately from insta. I’ve been super busy with a project I’ll soon be able to tell you more about. I don’t know about you, but the past months have been hectic with lots of ups and downs. For those of you interested a bit in my personal story, my BF and I were supposed to move to Melbourne before COVID-19, but decided to stay in Paris due to Australia’s border closure. 

We had given up our flat in March and have experienced life as digital nomads, enjoying the countryside life between Brittany and Provence. We’ve since found a new flat in Paris for a new beginning.

I often get targeted by these online course entrepreneurs trying to sell this fake dream how to build a million dollar business from dropshipping 😂  Don't get fooled, making money out of dropshipping is very very difficult to achieve..⁠⠀

What is dropshipping anyway ?👇⠀

It's a model where you select one or several existing product(s), on websites such as Alibaba. Since these are 'off-the-shelf' products, you can't modify these products or brand them. The vendor ships the product straight to your customer whenever an order is placed. While this seems very attractive because it allows anyone to setup an ecommerce with zero upfront stock to invest, there are several issues with this model:⁠⠀
⁠⠀
❌  You are competing with many other e-Commerce sites selling the exact same product which makes it very difficult to differentiate. You end up spending a lot on facebook ads to drive traffic to your website which ends up reducing your margins, which were already low⁠⠀
⁠⠀
❌  Shipping each time single units from China to Europe is a disaster for the environment⁠⠀
⁠⠀
❌  You have no control on the customer experience: how was it packaged ? has it left on time ? etc..⁠⠀

✅  Create a unique product by changing the design, function or features of an existing product by going straight to the source of production, straight to manufacturers. That way you'll have an exclusive product no one else has⁠⠀
