The congress aims to serve as a showcase for international research on ancient Egypt, encompassing all scientific approaches that have shaped the development of the discipline over the past 200 years, as well as those that have become essential in recent decades. It provides a platform both for presenting the latest discoveries and progress in Egyptology and for reflecting on its achievements, evolution, and future directions.
