Little British lessons (and all their cultural delight) will start back on Monday 7th September so before you sign up for the year, trial a free class.

As we wrap up organisation for what’s set to be a rather peppy rentrée, we’d like to wish everyone a gentle summer 🌾 May it be full of freshly made ice cream, salty seas and sandy feet.

An English summer weekend 🌳 Picnics in the woods, walks by the river, paths through the long grass and the evocative sound of a distant lawnmower.

The bees and the kingfishers and the custard tarts.

The brambles and the wellies and the old farmyards.

The boys couldn’t be happier.

Long live the English summertime.

It’s hot, it’s still hot, but nothing can waver our energy and enthusiasm for the opening of our Little British School at 72 bis rue de La Tour.

Work has started and we are genuinely excited to unveil the result. Think marble fireplaces, moldings, bespoke shelving and stripey walls.

The perfect environment for perfect English learning.

This weeks stage was called ART ATTACK but quite honestly we could have gone with HEATWAVE or WORLD CUP too.

Despite the heat (thankfully we HAVE big fans) and the late matches (thankfully we ARE big fans), the week was a happy melange of spray painting, graffiti painting, water color, finger painting, clay sculptures and STEM experiments.

Thank you to all our lovely students for bringing such enthusiasm and our teachers for bringing such creativity.

Now, rock ‘n’ roll on Monday for a week of BRITISH POP !

(And come on England !🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 )

It was our last team day of the year…

So we all sat round and celebrated with a slice of raspberry tart and a cup of tea.

It’s a wonderful thing to work with such nice, calm, talented people and we’re glad to say that the whole gang will be continuing with us again next year.

It’s Summer Highlight Week at Little British Schools !

A time to open our doors and showcase our lessons to all the parents, grandparents, siblings et al.

This very special week has become a twice yearly tradition at LBS and the summer week is particularly good.

Showing you how far the children have progressed over the school year is so important to us and can be quite a moving affair for parents. It’s also encouraging, inspiring and concrete evidence of how much the students not only learn English but ENJOY English.

We look forward to seeing many of you over the coming days and finishing the year with a pleasant British bang.
