🇬🇧 Yesterday, our Primary campus celebrated one of our favourite days of the year: International Day! The celebrations began with a vibrant flag parade, as students proudly represented the 35 countries that make up our school community. It was a powerful moment of unity, colour, and shared identity across Kingsworth.

By celebrating where we come from and standing together, our students continue to grow as confident, open-minded global citizens. 💫

Les festivités ont débuté par un défilé de drapeaux haut en couleur, où les élèves ont fièrement représenté les 35 pays qui composent notre communauté scolaire. Un moment fort, rempli d’unité, de couleurs et d’identité partagée à Kingsworth.

Upholding the values of true Kingsworthy Kings and Queens means doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. Students celebrated the day by showing off their most creative (and crazy!) hairstyles — proving that confidence, honesty, and individuality all go hand in hand. 💛🎨

Our next Spirit Week focus was Wellbeing. 🌿✨

Our Upper Primary students started the day in the playground with stretching and breathing exercises, while our Maternelle classes enjoyed yoga and gentle stretching accompanied by calming music.

Wellbeing means not only looking after ourselves physically, but also caring for our emotional and psychological health. At Kingsworth, we believe in creating daily moments that help students slow down, feel balanced, and build healthy habits for life. 💛

Our next Spirit Week value is Inclusion. 🌈✨
We celebrated by dressing up in mix-and-match outfits and rainbow colours - to show that everyone belongs and that our differences make us stronger together.

Inclusion at Kingsworth is about recognising, respecting, and celebrating what makes each student unique.

At Kingsworth, learning goes beyond textbooks. ✨

In CE2, students explore science through hands-on, real-life experiences - investigating the states of matter by observing, questioning, and experimenting with ice cubes.
This approach nurtures curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the world - because the best learning happens when children are actively engaged. 🔬🧊📚

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, and an especially heartfelt thank you to the parents and teachers who created and donated such beautiful baskets and prizes. 💛 Your generosity, creativity, and time truly made this event magical for our children — and we are proud to share that all proceeds will go to the Institut Curie to support vital cancer research. 🎗️✨

🇬🇧 Our Grade 9 students visited the Marine Museum to explore the exhibition “Magellan: Un voyage qui changea le monde.” 🌍✨
This trip is part of our GCSE Spanish unit on Viajes (Trips) and offered a fantastic opportunity to connect their language learning with the historical era of Spanish exploration.

Seeing history, culture, and language come together made for a truly enriching experience for our students. 🚢🇪🇸

🇫🇷 Nos élèves de 3e ont visité le Musée de la Marine pour découvrir l’exposition « Magellan : Un voyage qui changea le monde ». 🌍✨
Cette sortie s’inscrit dans leur programme de GCSE Espagnol, dans l’unité Viajes (Voyages), et leur a permis de relier l’apprentissage de la langue à la période historique des explorations espagnoles.

Une expérience riche qui a mêlé histoire, culture et langue — pour le plus grand bénéfice de nos élèves. 🚢🇪🇸
