Sharing a post on posture, embodied writing and emotional health.
A few months ago, I started using a ball instead of a chair for long writing and editing sessions. The ball elevates back tensions, improves your posture and core strength. Apparently, it might help you burn calories! It is also fun (during videocalls, I am now joyfully bouncing on my new chair... and you know I get very demonstrative ;)
More importantly, in stretching and opening your hips while writing, the ball helps your release old energy. The ball helps bring movement to your lower back, ge****ls, and womb.
Infusing movement in this sacred area of your body while writing, helps you connect with your pleasure, emotions, intimacy, and desire.
Writing in movement manifests in powerful ways: it allows negative emotions to flow out of your body. It helps you connect and focus on physical rooting and grounding through the pelvic floor and base of the spine.
By seating on a ball, you develop a kind attitude towards your body while writing.
You are aware of your bodily responses leading to increased emotional well-being, joy, and sensuality.
Try and let me know what you think 🌑
