🚨 PhD Opportunity in Sustainability & Circularity in the Built Environment 🌍

As the challenges of climate change, resource depletion, and rapid urbanisation intensify, the need for sustainable and circular solutions in the built environment has never been more critical. This research focuses on the construction and transport sectors, which are major contributors to carbon emissions and material consumption. It explores how circular principles such as reuse, recycling, and efficient design can be embedded into infrastructure development and mobility systems. By analysing sustainable construction practices and low-carbon transport strategies, the study aims to identify solutions that reduce environmental impact while maintaining economic viability. The research ultimately supports the transition toward resilient, resource efficient, and sustainable built environments.

I am currently seeking a motivated PhD candidate to join an exciting research project. A strong interest in sustainability, circular economy, and infrastructure systems is essential and a publication record is preferable.
