ALSE OF LIFE has existed for almost 13 years in Paris, with six batches alumnis in total. All alumni had never been acquainted with one another, until last night. What transpired was something I had wished and prayed for a long time, and seeing it finally become a reality felt truly special. Although December 6 is a busy day filled with Christmas celebrations, our alumni were still blessed to make it happened. The atmosphere was filled with smiles, happiness, and festivity. Truthfully, it was a challenge for me to remember everyoneโs names, but what stood out were our excited faces as we reunited with our batchmates, hugging one another and chatting endlessly.
The program started with Mimi, Head of the Secretariat of the ALSE OF LIFE Program, and yours truly. However, I found it difficult to concentrate because of the competing loud music and speakers from the other side of the venue. Nevertheless, since our objective was to hit two birds with one stone , celebrating with friends & welcoming our potential participants on the program while also giving all six batches the chance to engage and get to know each other. The event ran smoothly and for that we are truly grateful.
This gathering was only an appetizer for our ALSE alumn ,a small beginning to something much greater. We know that busy days lie ahead, as we balance our personal lives, our work, and our commitments. But together, with helping hands and shared purpose, we can accomplish more than we imagine. By staying connected and continually strengthening the bonds within our Ateneo LSE Family here in Paris, we will keep learning, growing, and lifting one another toward brighter future.
As we journey, let us always remember the four core values. May these values guide our actions, inspire our service, and strengthen our bond as an Ateneo LSE Family.
