15 minutes to change your mindset from uninspired to inspired
It can happen all the time, particularly when there is a big “to do” list and lots of procrastination or distractions have crept in. So how is it possible to leap out of the hole in which you find yourself? What will you do?
Give up?
Think tomorrow will be a better day?
Be decisive and get going?
The latter may not seem easy, but it can be.
Try writing down why you are feeling disappointed with yourself. Give it full vent for five minutes. Clear the air and start doing.
I’ve tried this myself and indulged in remembering times when I was so confident and sure I could change the world and this helped the words flow.
We can all come up with ideas about how to make a situation worse: for example customer service:- ignore the client; cut them off while they are explaining what they want; promise without checking if something is possible. It then becomes easy to invert these ideas to say how to improve customer service: Give the client attention; Really listen to the client; Confirm their request; Only promise what you know is possible.

You might not be in a place to write, but you could record your ideas on your smart phone and then write them up later.
