Excellent video to share with business English students. The vocabulary is rich so pick out some words to define. I'd suggest pasting the video into AI and asking for some comprehension questions and vocabulary worksheet. Frankly, I love this video because it's universal in its appeal to all adult students and it's scientifically based.

We all need an online lesson plan about job interviewing. Here's a new one that I like because it starts off with some funny, and cynical definitions for cover letter etc. It covers the STAR Method of answering "Tell me about the time.." questions. There's listening and a video as well. The free website seems worth looking into. https://esl-plans.com/?fbclid=Iwb21leATenzhjbGNrBN6exWV4dG4DYWVtAjExAHNydGMGYXBwX2lkDDM1MDY4NTUzMTcyOAABHi8IUZzXsa_k2SDE9_iss_vtAHPxf1cshNY7c38qoM7LnYdQn8uLf9F99F9p_aem_r9pxb6bJ847gi4vYl6u6cQ -the-star-method-job-interview

Science backed ideas for opening your lesson and closing it. 12 ways to check to see what students already know and what they've learned. I admit I relied on low-stakes quizzes and an introduction to each lesson with reasons why it was important. In this article I liked asking students to write the questions to the next quiz.

How to ace a teaching interview? Recall 2-3 stories from classroom experience, practice them and link those stories back to classic interview questions. It's not the time to be vague. I really enjoyed reading this article thinking back to a time just after the 2008 worldwide recession when I had to work at five different language schools just to keep my schedule full. School directors asked me about lesson prep and content selection, how I tailor content for level and interests, and how I manage groups. What kinds of questions were you asked that you "aced" with a related story?

Whether you’re a novice or a veteran, interviews can feel like high-stakes tests, so it’s important to make a plan and then stick to it.

Google Vids is a new Google Chrome extension where you can record a video and do a little editing from your browser. Sounds simple. I'm going to try it. Let me know what you think. This suggestion came from Ditch that Textbook. This public school Spanish teacher is so tech savvy.
