Nice is our classroom 🌿
Sometimes we walk. Sometimes we talk. Sometimes we discover something new. Sometimes we simply sit down for a drink and continue the conversation.

🤨 STILL vs ALWAYS ( = toujours)
Toujours can mean "still" when something continues:
➡ I still live in Nice.
🇫🇷 J'habite toujours à Nice.
➡ Are you still learning French?
🇫🇷 Tu apprends toujours le français ?
But toujours can also mean "always" when something happens regularly:
➡ I always walk to work.
🇫🇷 Je vais toujours au travail à pied.
So:
toujours = still OR always
The context tells you which one! 😉

Our first Postcards from Nice meet-up of July! ☀️
Nous avons eu le plaisir d’accueillir de nouveaux membres qui nous ont rejoints pour notre programme spécial de juillet.
Everyone was invited to bring a postcard or holiday souvenir with a story behind it. As for the postcard being shared in these photos... I’m not going to tell you what it was of, but it had us all laughing! 😂
Au fond, ce n’est pas la carte postale qui compte, mais les souvenirs et les conversations qu’elle fait renaître.

English has just one word **fan** but French has three different words:
🌀 A fan = un ventilateur
It’s so hot, I’ve had the fan on all day.
➡️ Il fait tellement chaud que j’ai laissé le ventilateur allumé toute la journée.
🪭 A fan = un éventail
She carried a fan to keep cool in the heat.
➡️ Elle avait un éventail pour se rafraîchir pendant la chaleur.
⚽ A fan = un fan / une fan
He’s a big football fan and never misses a match.
➡️ C’est un grand fan de football et il ne manque jamais un match.
