IMPORTANT NEWS 🦠: unfortunately, due to the increase in cases of COVID-19, the first edition of the English Pub Night (26th January) will be CANCELLED 😞

BUT we will get in touch soon to let you know when the replacement quiz will take place (most likely February) - this gives you all plenty of time to get your current event knowledge up to scratch 👩‍🎓

We also have the special theme chosen by last years losers: The Royal Family 👑 for all you royalists and The Crown fans out there !!!

Thank you to our gorgeous participants last night, who made some creative memes (see below) and sang like angels 👼🏻 let’s all cross our fingers that Kirsty and Andy will have recovered for our final EPN in two weeks time!!

Well done to the winners BURTON!!! Congrats to HOCUS POCUS THERES A PIZZA ON YOUR FOCUS for coming up with the best name and going home with the sweeties. Great try from THE PATE NOTICE (?? Not sure if this was right but we didn’t really understand the handwriting), who chose as our next EPN round.

You know what that means ... Wednesday December 1st 20h15; the fifth and FINAL English Pub Night of 2021!

Our last pub quiz will be a 🎄 CHRISTMAS SPECIAL 🎄 so get your sleigh bells and Santa hats ready! 🎅🏼 🛷 🔔

There will be a prize for the most festively-dressed team, as well as for the best team name (Christmas themed is encouraged)

A few L1 students weren’t able to join the fun in the past few weeks due to their age, but this Wednesday 17th November, Pub Mac Carthy will allow under-18 participants to join the English Pub Night!

If you are under the age of 18, show the bouncer this message when you arrive. You MUST NOT purchase any alcohol, or you’ll be shown the door. Who said you need alcohol to have fun??🧃
