Look what I’ve found… and it stopped me in my tracks! Aiden now seems all grown up!

Mixed-age learning creates natural opportunities for children to learn from one another. Older or more confident speakers model language, while younger children bring curiosity, enthusiasm and fresh energy.
Through play, conversation and collaboration, everyone has a role to play and everyone is learning.
English becomes something they use together, not just something they study.
Because sometimes the best language learning happens when children learn with each other. 💛

BODHI & OLIYOGA Parent & Child Retreat Inspired by The Four Agreements

Oil yoga and Bodhi are once again joining their passions, experience, and love for holistic education to offer a unique weekend retreat for parents and children.
After the beautiful success of last year’s retreat, we are delighted to announce a new immersive experience inspired by the wisdom of the Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz.

A weekend to slow down, reconnect, breathe deeply, and nourish the relationship between parent and child through yoga, mindfulness, nature, creativity, and meaningful shared experiences.
26th and 27th of September 2026 Saint Marguerite Island
Join us in an idyllic setting surrounded by coves, pine trees, and eucalyptus forest on the magical island of Saint Marguerite.
We will stay together in the magnificent Fort Royal, a beautifully restored historical monument nestled in untouched nature.
Only 10 parent & child duos available.
This retreat is designed as a gentle pause from daily life, an opportunity to reconnect with yourself, your child, and the present moment.

Throughout the weekend, we will explore the Four Agreements through movement, storytelling, rituals, yoga, creative workshops, Montessori-inspired activities, and circles of connection.

Terms & Conditions

There is something deeply meaningful about observing these girls of mixed ages come together to create their own little art shop. From designing and producing their artwork to setting up the space and developing a dialogue to buy and sell their creations in English, every element of this project emerged from their initiative and collaboration. In a mixed-age environment, the younger children are naturally inspired by the older ones, while the older children consolidate their knowledge through leadership, modelling language, and guiding with patience and care. With mixed levels of English, communication becomes authentic and purposeful; those with greater fluency support those who are still building confidence, and language is acquired organically through meaningful exchange rather than rote learning. The process integrates creativity, negotiation, problem-solving, and social development, all grounded in learning through play and role play. By stepping into the roles of artist, shopkeeper, and customer, the children engage in real-life scenarios that nurture independence, curiosity, and intrinsic motivation. The atmosphere is one of concentration, cooperation, and quiet joy.

An environment where learning is not imposed but discovered, and where each child contributes uniquely to a shared and purposeful experience.
