Yamin Gherbi had a dream.
In his dream, he was in Dubai. He looks out the window and admires the calm Persian Gulf. He is happy and content.
But then he woke up.
There was just one problem - his English.
That was 6 months ago.
Since then, Yamin made a tremdous effort.
He took our course: Fluent English in 6 months
He worked consistently, every day.
Learning new words.
Listening to podcasts.
Speaking every day at our CLUB with other Web developers.
He even went to Malta for 1 week just to learn English.
Today, Yamin has packed his bags and he's ready to go.
His new life awaits him.
Best of luck to you, my persistant friend.
Good things come to those who make small progress every day.
Lots of Web Developers want to improve their English so they can have exciting adventures living abroad in Dubai or Thailand or Canada.
Not Nicolas.
His goal was different.
He's happy living in beautiful Bretagne where he works full remote, overlooking the English Channel. He wanted to be better in his current role at Adveris, a small and passionate Paris-based internet company.
After 3 months of 3 hours per week of speaking practice, Nicolas is confident enough to join me on my podcast, not ashamed to speak English with me, a native speaker.
It was an absoltue pleasure having him as my student.
If you're curious to see how Nicolas can communicate in a full conversation after three months, check out my podcast: https://buff.ly/4bmuDId

You guys don't use this much anymore.
Is it considered old-fashioned?

In 2015, I made the decision to move to France with my French partner. Living in a different country and immersing myself in a new culture has been incredibly exciting. If the chance comes to change your environment, grab it - life is too short to always stick to the safe route. The only downside for me is not having my brother Philippe with me. Shown in the picture next to me, he holds a special place in my heart. In reality, one can't have it all, but the moments I do get to spend with him, usually once a year, are truly priceless.

4 years ago, Flo Blc came to me with a dream of living in New York City. Happy to say that his dream has finally come true. Stay focused!
You simply cannot lose my friends, so go for it! 🙌
Tip #5 : get an English coach to keep you on track!
Voici mon conseil #4 : practice speaking!
