I was lucky enough to recently enjoy an week of cookery school at Baron Figues (May 27-June
3, 2023). Adam and Caroline were delightful and accommodating, making sure that every
aspect of the experience was customized to our group of two. The cookery classes involved
making a wide variety impressive dishes featuring local ingredients. Adam’s wine, champagne
and Armagnac tastings contained a wealth of information on regional products. The mix of
cooking, tastings, market and winery and restaurant visits made for a great balance of
experiencing the area. And Caroline also took us on some lovely walks to enjoy local scenery
and burn a few calories :-). This was a well organized but flexible all inclusive week that I would
very highly recommend.

This on-site, hands-on, immersive course in English & French has been designed by our chef for those with some skill and a lot of passion for cooking. Jerome, a Michelin star trained chef and a walking encyclopaedia of French cooking, will take you on an incredible learning journey over the course of a week. From scratch, you’ll create amazing dishes as Jerome guides you through their ingredients, creation and presentation. Breads, pastries, pastas, meats, fish, sauces, desserts and much more. You’ll make these and more, picking up invaluable hints and tips along the way. Jerome will be there to guide you, but this is a hands-on course where you will perform all the tasks required to complete each dish from raw ingredients.
