On Wednesdays we provide Pre GCSE and GCSE English Language, Mathematics and Art & Design lessons, Wordy Wednesdays English literacy classes and Junior Drama Theatre workshops.
The progress in English literacy, coupled with the supported reading and encouragement with books that the children attending Wordy Wednesdays realise, is fantastic. Many of our Wordy Wednesdays children continue and move up to the secondary classes to study English Language at IGCSE level. We have fully bilingual teachers who support French children to improve their English levels through songs, books, discussion and play.

We started the Junior Drama group a number of years ago, it has gone from strength to strength with the players enjoying fantastic spectacles both at Christmas and in June. The confidence and skills that these young people have learnt have been plain to see, with superb performances at both events. Most importantly, their experience has been fun and exciting!!! Many of our actors and drama teachers have gone on to perform in the local drama groups and in Aladdin, the pantomime.
We would very much like to encourage new pupils to come and join Wordy Wednesdays andJunior Drama 2pm - 6pm, so please get in touch to register your interest and also let your friends know that we are now accepting new children to these groups.

We are also keen to welcome students aged from 10/11, that are attending college or lycée to study the pre IGCSE and IGCSE English Language lessons that take place on Wednesdays.
We are proud to say that all our students have achieved A* to C grades since we started this course in 2010. All students have found it particularly beneficial to maintain a high level of English and achieve commendable grades in this subject, which in many cases have been crucial in supporting their applications for English speaking universities.
Enrolment for the Pre/IGCSE English Language courses are accepted throughout this coming term.
Mathematics study for pre iGCSE and IGCSE students from the age of 10. These lessons complement the Maths study undertaken by the students whilst in college or lycée and also provides an opportunity for them to gain important iGCSE qualifications when they are fully prepared for the examinations. The lessons take place from every Wednesday.

We continue to run workshops for budding artists to gain an insight into the requirements for advanced study in Art & Design. The aims of the workshops are to enhance the drawing and creative skills for prospective GCSE and A Level Art and Design students.
Our workshops help students to have confidence in their own feelings, build on existing aspirations and identify and solve problems and encourage their own personal creativity. Our teachers will suggest ways in which students might develop ideas and help them focus on the technical skills required to achieve them. We encourage students to work in all mediums: watercolour, oil paint, acrylics, soft pastels, charcoal, graphite etc. We welcome all levels of ability from age 12 upwards. We provide a monthly full day, where the students come to the school to complete their Art & Design portfolios and take guidance and teaching from Joel, in order for them to prepare to enter into the GCSE or A level Art & Design examinations when they are ready.
