Sciences Palestine is pleased to announce that we have successfully finalized our first ever aid aid campaign in collaboration with the Gazan association جمعية النجدة الاجتماعية - غزة ALnajda .

Thanks to all of your kind donations we were able to send 500€ to Gaza, where Najda Association has delivered winter items to dozens of families.

Thanks to you all, these families in Gaza will be better equipped to face the winter, as the occupation makes it hard and more expensive to access basic products such as these.

We have now more energy than ever go continue our work for Palestine next semester, and to raise more money to help Palestinians resist.

Sciences Palestine a le plaisir d'annoncer que nous avons finalisé avec succès notre toute première campagne d'aide en collaboration avec l'association gazaouie "Najda".

Grâce à tous vos dons, nous avons pu envoyer 500€ à Gaza, où l'Association Najda a livré des articles d'hiver à des dizaines de familles.

Grâce à vous tous, ces familles de Gaza seront mieux équipées pour affronter l'hiver, car l'occupation rend difficile et plus coûteux l'accès à des produits de base comme ceux-ci.

Nous avons maintenant plus d'énergie que jamais pour continuer notre travail pour la Palestine le semestre prochain et pour collecter plus d'argent pour aider les Palestiniens à résister.

With the start of the new year, we take this opportunity to remember what the association achieved in 2022:

1. We joined a local Palestinian support group in Nice with whom we have participated in monthly peaceful demonstrations since September.

2. We sold over 40 keffiyeh from one of the oldest factories in Palestine, being able to raise 400€ for our winter distribution in Gaza.

3. We organized our first on-campus conference bringing awarded Palestinian researcher Ahmed El-Dabash .

4. We offered several cultural and artistic events on campus to make students learn about a side of Palestine that is not often talked about; like gastronomic experiences, dances and calligraphy workshops!

5. And we created a motivated team that will continue fighting for Palestine on campus on 2023 and beyond✊🏽

Today marks the 72nd anniversary of the Nakba, “catastrophe” in Arabic.

We celebrate Palestinian expression and the freedom struggle, but we also grieve. We grieve for the thousands of lives lost in their freedom struggle. We grieve for the hundreds and thousands of Palestinians who faced a mass exodus during the Nakba. So today we remember those lives, lands and liberties lost to oppression and occupation, who continue to not only shape the Palestinian freedom struggle for generations to come but also the Arab identity as a whole.
