Quick win time!

How fab is this review from Becky, who skied in La Plagne last winter?

I managed to find Becky a buggy, highchair, and cot quite last minute. She contacted me the week before she traveled. Her travel was then horribly delayed, so I left everything ready for her and her daughter in their apartment - all set up and ready to use.

When they got into their apartment past 10 pm, they could pop their sleeping toddler straight into the comfy cot. Perfect.

I can't wait to see more smiling faces in La Plagne again soon!

This time last year, I was wondering why no one in La Plagne Paradiski was renting out kids' equipment.

Now, I'm looking at winter number 2 running AlleyOops rental! Everything from

September is coming!

If you're already looking towards winter ski fun, here's some top tips to be ski fit ready to make the most out of your time on the hill.

1️⃣JFDI (JUST FLIPPIN DO IT!) The thought of starting is worse than starting, trust me!
2️⃣Check out on Instagram the Mobility Duo, they have short yoga tips and stretched specifically for skiers and snowboarders. Plus they are hilarious!
3️⃣Cardio - start moving more! Walking, hiking, run, swim - whatever you enjoy! This is really going to help you adjust to the altitude when you're in La Plagne.
4️⃣Focus on the muscles that get used - around the hips, quads, hamstrings and core. Basically, it's leg day!

🤯Group travel?!

Are you trying to organise a ski group of family/friends this winter? Here are 3 tips to help you make this as simple as possible.

1️⃣ Book as much as you can before you travel! Lessons, lift passes, restaurant reservations - everything!
2️⃣ Share the information with everyone - don't hoard it!
3️⃣ When you're in the resort, have a group chat on WhatsApp or something else so that you can all keep in touch throughout the week.

If you're booking your ski holiday for this winter, don't make these common mistakes.

Always find out:

1 If you can book lessons. Whatever level you ski at, it's always the right decision to book some!
2 If your resort is family or beginner friendly
3 Find out what's included in your holiday. Often, there are added extras, so make the most of them!
4 The fancy ski might look pretty BUT don't get them! They are also harder to learn to ski on!
5 Don't get bullied into buying the whole resort ski pass if you're a beginner. You won't need it. Just get the local pass. If you really want, you can always upgrade later in your holiday.

🤩I had to share this great feedback from one of my amazing clients last winter.

Lauren T stayed in La Plagne 1800 with and rented a baby bassinette-buggy, a baby bath, and some baby toys. It was great to hear that her journey to the resort was so much easier without worrying about all the baby equipment. Lauren traveled through the airport with her baby in a carrier rather than a buggy.

But, having the bassinette baby pushchair in her chalet ready for the week meant they could all explore the snowy mountains together as a family.
