One of my hero’s, influences and a great source of inspiration. Since my O level Art all the way up to today and forever Hockney will be my hero, he leaves behind a body of work like no other artist, incorporating a plethora of mediums and techniques of ´making pictures’. He embraced the changes in technology and kept developing as an artist. I feel heartbroken and euphoric all at the same time.
I will be wearing my Hockney ‘end bossiness soon’ badge this evening for the Frida Kahlo talk, I might have to wear sunglasses too. 😢
