🇫🇷 L’Histoire Secrète de la Marinière 🇫🇷

Ce n’est pas juste un pull rayé ! Le célèbre « tricot rayé » est né en 1858 comme uniforme officiel de la Marine Nationale française, censé aider à repérer les marins à la mer (ou juste à économiser la teinture ! 🤫).

Il est passé du ponton au podium grâce à :
✨ Coco Chanel qui l’a rendu chic et féminin dans les années 1910.
✨ Jean-Paul Gaultier qui en a fait son icône pop et sexy dans les années 80.

Aujourd’hui, c’est le symbole ultime du chic français intemporel (souvent appelé le « Breton shirt » par nos amis anglophones !).

It’s more than just a striped top! The famous « marinière » was born in 1858 as the official uniform for the French National Navy, supposedly to help spot sailors at sea (or just to save on dye! 🤫).

It sailed from the dock to the runway thanks to:
✨ Coco Chanel who made it chic and feminine in the 1910s.
✨ Jean-Paul Gaultier who made it his pop and sexy icon in the 80s.

Today, it’s the ultimate symbol of timeless French chic! A true French fashion staple that belongs in every wardrobe.
