Today we had the privilege of discovering one of the hidden treasures of Le Grand Longwy.

Thanks to a kind invitation from the Tourist Office, we enjoyed a fascinating guided tour of the magnificent Majorelle stained-glass windows. This was much more than an art tour—it was a journey through the history, identity, and soul of the region.

Created by Louis Majorelle in 1928 for the former headquarters of the Longwy Steelworks, these extraordinary Art Deco stained-glass windows are a tribute to the men and women whose work in the steel industry shaped this region for generations. Every panel tells part of that story, illustrating the blast furnaces, rolling mills, steelworks, and the workers whose dedication made Longwy one of Europe's great industrial centres.

As sunlight poured through the glass, the colours came alive, revealing remarkable details and powerful symbolism. The guide's explanations allowed us to appreciate not only the incredible craftsmanship but also the deep connection between art and industry—where beauty was created to honour hard work, innovation, and the pride of an entire community.

A heartfelt thank you to the Tourist Office for their warm welcome and for sharing this exceptional piece of Longwy's heritage with us. It is a place where history, industry, and art come together in the most inspiring way.

🌿 Merci à toutes et à tous ! 🌿

Un immense merci à tous ceux qui ont participé à notre Jardin Ouvert.

Merci à tous les artistes : Joël, Mika, Hakim et Miriam pour sa cousine qui ont partagé leur talent et leurs magnifiques créations, à nos amis, à nos nouveaux amis, ainsi qu'à tous les visiteurs qui sont venus passer ce moment avec nous.

Un merci à Chambre d'Hôtes Forêt et à toute la famille pour leur présence, leur aide et leur bonne humeur. Votre soutien a beaucoup compté pour nous. ❤️

Nous espérons que vous avez passé un agréable moment dans notre jardin et que cette journée vous a permis de faire de belles rencontres, de découvrir de nouveaux artistes et de profiter d'une ambiance conviviale.

Dans quelques jours, nous vous accueillerons pour notre Jardin Ouvert, le dimanche 19 juillet, de 12 h à 17 h, au 23 rue Saint-Louis à Longwy-Bas.

Venez profiter d'un moment de détente dans un jardin agréable et convivial.

🌸 Petit marché avec les créations d'artistes et d'artisans.
🎨 Exposition d'œuvres de plusieurs artistes.
☕ Boissons, gâteaux et gourmandises en vente sur place.
🎈 Trampoline et pétanque pour les petits et les grands.
🌦️ En cas de pluie, des tentes seront installées pour vous accueillir.

Que vous veniez en famille, entre amis ou simplement par curiosité, vous serez les bienvenus.

Le dimanche 19 juillet, nous vous ouvrons les portes de notre jardin pour un après-midi convivial dans un cadre paisible et plein de charme.

✨ Promenez-vous dans le jardin, découvrez notre petit marché et profitez d'un moment de détente.

☕ Des boissons, du café, des gâteaux et d'autres gourmandises seront proposés à la vente.

🎈 Les enfants pourront s'amuser sur le trampoline.

⛺ En cas de pluie, un grand chapiteau vous permettra de profiter de la journée à l'abri.

We are deeply grateful for this year’s Glamourpartynight – an evening filled with elegance, warmth, music, and wonderful connections 💛

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this possible:

To Hakim for his help with decorations, preparations, setup, clearing, and for being there throughout the evening.

To Jakob for the collaboration, communication, patience, and everything it takes to coordinate before, during, and after the event.

The decorations were created by us with great care and joy, and a warm thank you to Vertige for the beautiful flowers and for the care taken in selecting them according to our preferences 💐

To Frank, Christina, Eva, and Aunt Beate for their incredible help – preparing the house and garden, cleaning, organizing, setting the tables, and arranging the decorations. Thank you for your time and for travelling to help us 💛

To Camilla for her help with the preparations and for the beautiful piano music that accompanied our work.

To Meva, Julie, Clémence, and Christina for their care, creativity, and help with makeup and hair. To Cat nails for beautiful nail design.

To Lila and Claire for their kind service and invaluable help with organizing the drinks, cleaning, and keeping everything running smoothly throughout the evening.

To Isabelle and Eric for a delicious, creative, and beautifully prepared dinner buffet.
