🇫🇷 Une rentrée rythmée par les anniversaires 🎈
Cette première semaine s’achève dans la joie, ponctuée par plusieurs anniversaires — ceux de septembre, mais aussi ceux de l’été que nous avons eu plaisir à célébrer ensemble. Pour certains de nos nouveaux élèves, c’était même une jolie façon de faire leurs premiers pas à l’école et de partager un moment heureux avec leurs nouveaux camarades.
En pédagogie Montessori, l’anniversaire est aussi un véritable temps d’apprentissage. À travers le rituel de la Terre qui tourne autour du Soleil, l’enfant prend peu à peu conscience du temps qui passe : une révolution autour du Soleil, une année de vie, une année de plus.
Grandir, comprendre le temps… et surtout célébrer ensemble. ✨
🇬🇧 A joyful start to the school year, filled with birthdays 🎈
Our first week comes to an end on a joyful note, marked by several birthday celebrations — both September birthdays and those that took place over the summer. For some of our new pupils, it was even a lovely way to take their first steps at school and share a happy moment with their new classmates.
In Montessori education, birthdays are also a meaningful learning experience. Through the ritual of the Earth travelling around the Sun, children gradually develop an understanding of the passing of time: one journey around the Sun, one year of life, one year older.
Growing, understanding time… and above all, celebrating together. ✨
