Poste postdoctoral de deux ans à l’Observatoire Midi-Pyrénées (OMP) à Toulouse, France.

Le projet vise à développer une méthode basée sur l’IA pour estimer la profondeur des séismes à partir d’enregistrements télésismiques et à améliorer notre compréhension de la sismicité intraplaque (voir projet ci-joint). Plusieurs missions sont prévues entre les différents partenaires à Barcelone (Espagne), Paris (France), Toulouse (France) et Potsdam (Allemagne).

15 Fully Funded PhD Positions – MSCA Doctoral Network RESCUE

The Horizon Europe MSCA Doctoral Network RESCUE offers 15 fully funded PhD positions focused on tackling soil and groundwater contamination through innovative and interdisciplinary approaches combining geophysics and environmental engineering.

The PhD projects span topics ranging from contaminant behaviour and geophysical signatures to site characterisation, monitoring of contamination and remediation processes, and socio-economic, legal, and sustainability assessment.

Successful candidates will be employed for up to 36 months, receive a competitive salary and benefits package, and participate in advanced research, scientific and transferable skills training, as well as international and intersectoral secondments.

Applicants must hold a relevant Master's degree, meet MSCA mobility rules, and demonstrate upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Recruitment follows a transparent and merit-based selection process, with a strong commitment to equal opportunities and diversity. Positions start between November 2026 and January 2027.

PostDoc position at OVSG to investigate the geochemical evolution of the hydrothermal system of La Soufrière de Guadeloupe.

We are seeking a candidate for a two-year postdoctoral position at the Guadeloupe Volcanological and Seismological Observatory (OVSG) — Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris (IPGP). This position is part of the Soufrière Factory research project, and the successful applicant will investigate the geochemical evolution of the hydrothermal system of La Soufrière de Guadeloupe.

Postdoc position at CRPG (Lorraine University, France)

A postdoc position is opening at the University of Lorraine (CRPG, Nancy) on mantle-derived noble gas analysis by IRMS, as part of a new project funded by the French government (https://pepr-origins.fr/projet/primordial/).

The project will include analytical developments, field campaigns, and noble gas analyses from hydrothermal and volcanic regions to characterize the compositions of various mantle reservoirs and develop new geochemical tools for monitoring volcanic activity.
