You are currently a SciencesPo Le Havre student interested in geostrategy and defense or simply curious about what a military site is ?
Come on November, 30th from 8.45 to 15.30 discover one major historical French Air and Space Force base located in Normandy and its diverse activities.
The site "Commandant Viot" consists in 3 squadrons mostly dedicated to air tactical transport and 6 different military aircrafts amongst which Transall C160G Gabriel, CASA CN 235/200 and one helicopter H225M/ EC 725 Caracal. The visit is organized in French. A pass sanitaire is required.
The schedule:
8.45: Reception on site
9.00-9.30: Welcome speech by Colonelle Le Floch
9.45-10.45: Visit and presentation of an aircraift
11.00-11.30: Introduction to the cynophilist unit and training demonstration
11.45-13.30: Lunch break
13.45-14.30: Visit of the ESIS (Escadron Sécurité Incendie et Sauvetage)
14.45-15.30: Visit of the control tower
15.30: End of the visit
