Congratulations to Madison and Isabella, the very first students on campus to earn a PE Positive! Their outstanding sportsmanship, positive attitudes, and kindness toward others make them a joy to have in PE. Thank you both for setting such an amazing example, we’re so proud of you and can’t wait to see many more students follow in your footsteps!

Our Cubs are putting their creativity, teamwork, and engineering skills to the test this week in STEAM Class!

3rd Grade: Students are harnessing the power of teamwork to transfer marbles between cups—but there’s a catch: their hands can’t touch the cups OR the marbles! Talk about a challenge!

5th Grade: Students are using the Engineering Design Process to create the tallest towers they can using just marshmallows and spaghetti!

The Medina Valley ISD Panthers are taking on the Churchill Chargers on Friday, August 28 at 7:30 PM at Comalander Stadium — and we’re asking our LCE Cubs to help make a difference while we cheer on the Panthers! 🐾❤️

🥜 Bring your peanut butter to school to add to our donate bin OR donate $2 for a jar using the QR Code Below! (Do not send cash to campus!

The Peanut Butter Bowl helps provide food to people in need, and every jar and donation makes an impact. Let’s come together as a school community to feed people in need and support a great cause!

The Food Bank Distribution scheduled for August 25, 2026, has been canceled due to the expected high temperatures. We appreciate our volunteers and want to be mindful of the conditions they will be working in.
We have added additional food distribution dates, which are listed on the flyer. To search for a food distribution near you or find an upcoming distribution, visit https://www.freshtrak.com/.
If your family needs additional support, please reach out to the LaCoste Elementary counseling team. They are happy to help connect you with available resources.

We had a GREAT first couple of days at LaCoste Elementary! 🐾❤️

A huge thank you to all of our parents who took the time to fill out a First Day of School Letter for your child! 💌 Our counselors were able to deliver every single one to our Cubs, and it was such a special way to help start their school year with a little extra love and encouragement. 🥰

Thank you for helping us make these first days so special! We are looking forward to an amazing year of learning, growing, and making memories together! 🌿📚🐾

A HUGE thank you to the Medina Valley Education Foundation for generously donating breakfast for our LCE staff today! Your support helped fuel our team and start the day off right!

And a HUGE shoutout to our amazing PTO for donating all of the decorations and games for our team-building fun this morning! The extra touches have made the this whole week fun, festive, and full of laughter!

We are so grateful for the incredible support of our community and PTO. When our staff feels supported, our Cubs benefit! 🐾❤️🧡

Today marked the official kickoff to an exciting new school year as we gathered for Convocation! 🧡❤️🐾

It was a great day filled with inspiration, celebration, and a shared commitment to making the 2026–2027 school year the very best for our students. We are grateful to be part of such an amazing district and can't wait to welcome our LCE Cubs back to campus on the 12th!

Here's to a year of learning, growth, and unforgettable memories.
