A Graded Reader or English Reader book is a great way to continue to improve your English language abilities. They are simplified versions of the real book, written for your language level. (Starter to Level 6 / 7).
Test your level before you read. Most of the websites listed below provide a link to a short test, so that you buy a book that's right for you.
Reading isn't for everyone, I agree. That's ok, I understand. That's why many of the titles offer a free cd or code so you can listen to the story.
Another great thing about the books is that they all come with a series of questions about each chapter to test your reading or listening comprehension. Of course this isn't obligatory. Most people prefer just to read for pleasure.
The books are available from each of the individual websites or you can often find them online, either by searching using: 'Graded reader + book title' or the ISBN code for each book.
