Meet someone who wants to live a thousand lives.

A self-proclaimed explorer, Paul-Emeric Willette wanted to get the most he could out of his HEC Paris MBA experience. He says he did his best to keep a "balanced and curious agenda."

"There are simply too many opportunities in a single day, so it's all about making choices. Beyond mandatory classes and group work, a typical day might involve choosing between a conference with an inspiring Tech or Luxury leader, a multicultural dinner, an alumni afterwork gathering in Paris, a 5K run with your friends around the campus lake or fine-tuning your resume for an upcoming recruiting event."

Paul made sure he tried a bit of everything, stayed open-minded, and allowed himself to fully immerse in the transformative quality of an HEC Paris MBA.

On her 30th birthday, mid-exam season, Aduh Kyalo (MBA '27) walked into class wearing a sash and a crown. 👑

That same evening, she finalized a Black Friday campaign for the luxury handbag brand she continues to work with as she pursues her MBA at HEC Paris — a campaign that drove a 57% YoY revenue increase.

Lina Guerin, former French national rugby player and a student speaker at our 2026 graduation ceremony, shared a personal reflection on transition and resilience.

After retiring from professional rugby following more than a decade at the highest level of competition, she arrived at HEC searching for a new direction.

"When we arrived at HEC, most of us came here looking for something... a new career, a different life," she told her classmates.

Graduation speaker Jacqueline Eichenblatt shared lessons learned whilst caring for her late mother.

"The most important thing you will build in this life are your relationships," she said.

She noted how quickly strangers became a support system in the course of the MBA program.

Her message highlighted a defining characteristic of the HEC Paris MBA experience: the realization that classmates become far more than professional contacts. They become friends, collaborators, mentors, and lifelong sources of support.

Daring the Impossible has a special meaning on Graduation Day, posing for photos in caps and gowns with cherished friends as you celebrate what sometimes felt a million miles away : you earned the degree - you did the thing.

And it doesn't end there. We'll be waiting to hear about how you ride the waves of your careers, how that internship you did bore fruit, how the class you almost didn't want to take ended up being a huge inspiration, how you meet up once a month with your MBA bestie to talk everything out.

At 24, Harivansh Gahlot has already built a career spanning sustainability consulting, social entrepreneurship, and education innovation. Before joining HEC Paris, the Delhi native worked at Bain & Company and later at L.E.K. Consulting, specializing in ESG, decarbonization, and ethical governance strategy.

He came to HEC Paris to continue creating impact wherever he can, and make meaning in his future business endeavors.

Flexing all her international muscles, Camilla Pereira De Souza Venditto, MBA '22, says that what she loves about her current job in banking is working across multiple countries and making good use of her fluency in four languages and technical skills to help clients solve complex challenges.

While at HEC Paris, Camilla took part in as many experiences as she could. She was part of the Leadership Fellows community (formerly TEC) wherein she worked with mentor Therry Voirot, whose insight and guidance she describes as transformative. She served as President of the MBA Retail and Luxury Club. She interned at Richemont (which led to her first post-MBA role).

She describes the network at HEC Paris as invaluable, noting that she met most of her closest friends, including her husband, through the program.

"Treat the application and the HEC MBA Program as a journey of self-discovery," she says.

We'd say she nailed it.
