🇨🇦 A look back at the trip some of our high school students took last year, exploring Canadian universities, from Montréal to Sherbrooke, with a stop in Québec City.

On the programme: visits to some of the country's most beautiful campuses, McGill, Concordia, Laval, Bishop's and Sherbrooke, each one offering a real immersion into North American university life, complete with swimming pools, ice rinks, state-of-the-art laboratories, sports fields and inspiring study spaces.

The trip was also a chance to reconnect with IS33 alumni, now studying at these prestigious institutions. Several of them had chosen to pursue their higher education in Canada, where students can study in French, in English or in a bilingual track depending on their goals, with favourable tuition fees for students from France, all within a supportive and stimulating academic environment.

And of course, no trip to Canada would be complete without attending a hockey game and tasting the famous poutine.

Our students came home more mature, motivated and future-oriented, with renewed ambition for their post-bac studies.
A heartfelt thank you to the trip organisers for their dedication and guidance, which helped make this experience truly unforgettable.

📚✨ Every week, our primary students love spending time in our library, a warm space that nurtures their curiosity and grows their passion for books.

They discover new titles or continue reading their favourites, borrow books to take home, chat with classmates about their favourite reads and discoveries, or simply enjoy a quiet moment during recess.

But the library is also a genuine place for learning. Our students attend dedicated sessions to learn how to organise, sort and classify books, tell fiction from non-fiction, conduct effective research and properly cite their sources, among many other engaging activities.

A huge thank you to our librarian, who brings this beautiful space to life every day and inspires our students to become curious, independent and passionate readers.

This is exactly our vision of learning at IS33: learning, exploring, sharing... and loving to read.

🌈 International celebrations are a real highlight of school life at International School 33 a chance to discover cultures from around the globe, share traditions, and bring our whole community closer together.

🎨 This time, it was Holi, the Indian Festival of Colors, that took over the playground. Many students showed up in colorful outfits, ready to add even more joy to the day.

🍛 A big thank you to the families who brought homemade dishes to share food is always a beautiful way to discover new traditions and celebrate everything that makes our international community so rich.

🌈 And then came the moment everyone was waiting for: the throwing of colored powder! From our youngest kindergarteners to our high schoolers, alongside parents and staff, everyone joined in for some joyful, colorful chaos.

💛 Laughter, sharing, kindness a celebration our whole community will remember for a long time.

🌐✨ Our students, tomorrow’s diplomats ✨🌐

🌐 What if your child debated climate change one day... in English, in front of an international assembly?

🇺🇳 At IS33, Model United Nations (MUN) gives our students the opportunity to experience how the UN actually works: they take on the role of delegates, represent a country, draft resolutions and debate current international issues.

✈️ Our students have represented IS33 at the prestigious YMUN Europe in Geneva, organised by Yale University, before taking part in MUNCONNECT in Bordeaux alongside young people from 5 different countries.

🗣️ The result: greater confidence in speaking up and a real awareness of the world’s biggest challenges.

💬 At what age do you think children can start debating topics like these?

💫 90% of our students will be back at IS33 for the 2026-2027 school year. A number that speaks for itself: trust is built, day after day.

💛 That trust starts with our teams — their high standards, their passion, and the attention they give every student, every single day.

🤝 It's also thanks to our families, who are deeply involved in school life and without whom this community simply wouldn’t exist.

🌟 And above all, it's thanks to our students: their curiosity, determination and kindness remind us every day why we do this work.

✨ A school isn't just a place to learn: it's a community built on trust and shared ambition.

🎉 Thank you for letting us continue this journey with you.

🥋✨ Judo, a life lesson from age 4 ✨🥋

🥋 At International School 33, judo isn’t an option: it’s an integral part of our educational approach, open to students from as young as 4 and a half.

🏆 Our judo programme grew with the support of Catherine Arnaud, a French champion, Olympic medallist in Seoul, and now a 7th Dan the highest female rank in the Aquitaine league. All our young judokas are licensed by the French Judo Federation and take their grading exams every year.

💪 Beyond the sport itself, judo teaches respect for rules, respect for others, self-confidence and emotional control — values that run through our entire educational approach.

🎓 Here, excellence is never confined to the classroom.

🤍 Has your child ever tried a martial art?

🌍❤️ A life-changing humanitarian trip to Morocco 🇲🇦✨

✨ Some of our middle and high school students experienced far more than a school trip they embarked on a truly transformative human adventure, filled with emotion, meaningful encounters, and unforgettable discoveries. During several days in Marrakech and its surrounding region, they opened their eyes… and their hearts.

🤝 One of the most powerful moments was visiting Enfance Espoir, a nursery caring for babies awaiting adoption. These moving encounters, filled with tenderness and reflection, deeply touched our students and offered them a new perspective on life.

💙 They also spent precious time with the children of the Malaïca Association, which supports young people with Down syndrome. Through smiles, laughter, games, and genuine connections, our students discovered the incredible power of kindness, inclusion, and human connection.

🏜️ Alongside these meaningful experiences, our students explored the beauty and diversity of Morocco: the vibrant souks of Marrakech, the historic Medina, the breathtaking Ourika Valley, and the stunning landscapes of the Agafay Desert.

🐪 From camel rides, quad biking adventures to conversations with local people, each day encouraged our students to step outside their comfort zones and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.

🎓 Beyond the activities, this journey became a lesson in empathy, gratitude, resilience, and solidarity. Our students returned home enriched by authentic human experiences.

💫 A heartfelt thank you to the associations, families, and communities who welcomed us.

❤️ A week filled with emotion, learning, and inspiration reminding us that the most meaningful journeys are the ones that change us from within.
