C’est la rentrée ! First day done. It didn’t take long for the rhythm of school life to kick in once again.

Our Year 11s have every right to be delighted with their GCSE results. With over 25% of the grades at Grade 9 it is clear that teaching, learning and revision have come together to ensure this excellent level of exam success. Twenty-two students have been awarded Sixth Form Scholar status having achieved six or more Grade 8 or Grade 9s.

We are delighted with all performances and we wish all our leaving Year 11s every success in the future. We look forward to working with the majority who will be staying with us here at the BSP for A level study.

We celebrated the many achievements of our Year 13 students on the last day of the school year and today we are celebrating their excellent A level results. Our A*/A pass rate increased with 47% being top grades. Eight students achieved As and A*s only with two pupils gaining three or four A* grades.
The BSP is a springboard to success, next year our students will attend not only top universities in the UK such as Cambridge, Edinburgh, Durham and UCL but also some of Europe’s most prestigious universities including Athens and Delft. Other students have looked further afield with places being gained in Canada and Australia. More than 90% of students were accepted by their first-choice university.
This year has also seen a rise in interest in other routes with two students being accepted to the prestigious EHL school of hotel management. Others have chosen to follow creative routes with sculpture, fashion and photography courses being chosen.
We wish all these students well as they move on to very bright futures indeed. We are proud of every pupil and their achievements.

Celebrating a wonderful year in the Junior School!

What a fantastic way to end the year! Our Junior School Prize Giving Ceremony was a special celebration of the hard work and growth of every pupil.

It was inspiring to see so many children recognised for their dedication, perseverance and success throughout the year. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished.

The final weeks of term were filled with memorable experiences - from exciting educational trips to Paris and beyond, to sports days, concerts, assemblies and plenty of end-of-year celebrations.

Above all, we recognise the kindness, creativity and curiosity that our pupils have shown every day. Congratulations to all our students on an outstanding year of learning – we can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!
