🎉 Warmest welcome to our 1st MSc in Sustainability Transformation cohort!

The pioneering students of the program arrived on the ESSEC Cergy campus yesterday!

They were welcomed by Vincenzo Esposito Vinzi, Dean and President of ESSEC Business School, Aarti Ramaswami, Dean for Pre-Experience programs, along with Anne-Claire Pache, Academic Director of the program and Associate Dean for Global Strategy and Sustainability, as well as Alexis de la Tour du Pin, Executive Director of the program.

After a day of discovering the ESSEC ecosystem, the day ended with a convivial moment during which the students got to know each other better and interacted with key actors of the program.

We wish our new batch a fulfilling and transformational learning journey filled with enriching experiences throughout their time at ESSEC Business School!

🌱 The imperative for a in and the growing demand for | Perspectives from Agir pour le vivant 2022

The pressure to step up climate action is increasing every day. Beyond what we can do as individuals, there is a massive shortage of talents who can lead and facilitate environmental and ecological transition in companies and organizations, with a need for a great reskilling to train people who can work in Transition.

This was one of the topics that Rob Hopkins, founder and figurehead of the movement, touched on at this week’s “Agir pour le vivant 2022” event in Arles, France. During a panel discussion, he cited the role of leading business schools in France, such as ESSEC, in grooming talents, while highlighting the imperative for business schools to become , teaching courses through the lens of the and emergency.
