These expression are pretty agressive. You can use them with your friends but not with your host family.

With your Host family you can use these following expressions :

- Il/elleétait très difficile aujourd'hui. He was a handful today.
- Il y a eu beaucoup de tension aujourd'hui. There was a lot of tension today
- C'était difficile à gérer

French school supplies are full of false friends and brand names!
🎒 🇫🇷 Un cartable isn't just any bag; it's that specific rigid, rectangular backpack for primary school.

🇫🇷 Une chemise is a cardboard folder for papers, NOT a shirt (that’s une chemise too, but context matters!).

🇫🇷 Un Tipp-Ex is what everyone calls correction fluid, using the brand name instead of "correcteur".

🇫🇷 Une gomme is an eraser, so don’t go looking for chewing gum in the pencil case! 🍬❌

Saving this list before the "rentrée scolaire" will save you a trip to the wrong aisle in the stationery store! 🛒
